Three days after losing back-to-back games to Arlington, Bartlett had a convincing 10-0 outing against Millington Monday evening. The Panthers lost their second and third games of the season last week to Arlington. The first, a 7-6 come-from-behind victory for the Tigers, happened despite strong hitting from Bartlett’s Justin Ammons and Andrew Miller, who each had a home run in the contest. Arlington was dominant in the second game, winning 5-1 after scoring three runs in the fifth inning. However, the Panthers (17-3) got back to their winning ways Monday, scoring four runs in the second inning and five in the fifth to easily oust the Trojans. Dalton Caviness was the winning pitcher for the Panthers. ABOVE: Senior Joseph Leatherwood slides into second base. Photo by Theron Malone
