Plant sale helps beautify Bartlett
The Bartlett City Beautiful annual plant sale will be open this Friday through Sunday with deals on perennials and annuals. The sale will be 9 a.m.-6 p.m. April 11-12 and 1-5 p.m. April 13, all under the tent at the corner of Stage and Whitten in Bartlett.
Redbirds pack plenty of fun into April events
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Redbirds have an action-packed promotional calendar for AutoZone Park’s 15th Anniversary season in 2014, including 14 fireworks extravaganzas, premium giveaways, the return of Friday block parties, and multiple group theme nights, and more.
April will include:
- April 11, AutoZone Park’s 15th anniversary T-shirt giveaway (3,000 fans)
- April 12, fireworks
- April 13, Bark in the Ballpark, offering $1 hot dogs and free admission for dogs with paid owners. Also featuring Jake the Diamond Dog
- April 19, Organ Donor Night and fireworks
The Redbirds will be home on five major holidays in 2014:
- Easter (April 20)
- Mother’s Day (May 11)
- Memorial Day (May 26)
- Father’s Day (June 15)
- Independence Day (July 4)
Daily promotions will include the return of TWO-sdays, Block Party Fridays, Signature Saturdays, and Kids Run the Bases Sundays.
