Arlington Wrestling Club members competed in the West Tennessee Championships on Dec. 21.

Arlington Wrestling Club wrestled in the West Tennessee Championships at St. Benedict of Auburndale (SBA) on Dec. 21. Championship results include:
- Tournament Champions: Chris DeLuca, Luke Kerns, Jake Knaff and Clay Spicer.
- Second place: William Westbrook, Douglas Sattler, Tyler Shoemaker, Caleb Morgan and Andrew Enzor.
- Third place: Devin Milsom, Connor Caskey and Alex Merritt.
- Fourth place: Lucas Hunt, Connor Nettleton, Kevin Singh, Cooper Caskey, Maverick Wynne, Kain Laub, Sam Lee, Hayden Baudoin, Garrett Johnson and Austin Spice.
The competition was at the halfway mark for the Bobcats’ season. In 2014, the club will begin traveling to meet tougher competition in preparation for the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) regional and state tournaments in March.

Upcoming January activities include:
- Tigers: Jan. 7, Bartlett and Kingsbury at Bartlett; Jan. 8, SBA and Fayette Academy at home; Jan. 15 at Millington; Jan. 16, SGIS at home; and Jan. 22, Cordova and Bolton at Cordova.
- Bobcats: Jan. 11, SBA Eagle Challenge tournament; and Jan. 18, Tennessee AAU Top 100 Tournament, Murfreesboro.
