Vehicle-related
Stage Road: A man who parked at LA Fitness (6050 Stage Road) said someone stole his handgun from its storage spot between the front seats of his truck. Reported Oct. 21.
Summer Avenue: A man provided security footage of someone stealing multiple parts from a vehicle at Abernathy’s Custom Center (6733 Summer Ave.), including a tailgate, both taillights and bed linings. Reported Oct. 21.
Stage Road: A woman reported that someone broke into her vehicle and stole her purse. Reported Oct. 22.
Summer Oaks Drive: Penske Truck Rental reported that a stolen vehicle had been tracked via GPS signal to a location on Summer Oaks Drive. The responding officer found the truck parked on the street and identified it through the VIN. The officer detained a suspect walking toward the truck and took her to the Bartlett Jail on charges. Reported Oct. 22.
Bartlett Boulevard: A woman parked at Freeman Park (2629 Bartlett Blvd.) and returned to find her front driver’s side window shattered. Nothing was stolen. Reported Oct. 23.
Bartlett Boulevard: A man returned to his vehicle and found his passenger-side rear window shattered and items missing. Reported Oct. 23.
New Brunswick: A spokesman for Shaw Material Handling (3150 New Brunswick) reported that someone stole the catalytic converters off eight company vehicles. Reported Oct. 24.
Stage Center Cove: A man reported that someone burglarized his vehicle and stole a handgun and shotgun. Reported Oct. 24.
Sandywood Lane: A woman said someone entered her unlocked vehicle and stole her wallet and purse. Reported Oct. 25.
Hunters Glade Lane: A man said someone broke into his truck and stole items. Reported Oct. 25.
Unspecified location: A woman reported that someone had stolen her vehicle’s license plate. Reported Oct. 25.
Bristol Park Drive: A man reported that someone had stolen his vehicle’s license plate. Reported Oct. 27.
Burglaries and thefts
Dawnhill: A woman reported that someone had stolen her iPhone from inside her garage. A phone tracking app showed it was in the area of Ellendale Park. Officers checked several locations but were not able to fine the phone. Reported Oct. 21.
Charles Bryan Road: A man said someone stole the basketball goal from his back yard overnight. Reported Oct. 25.
