
The Bartlett Community Concert Band will host its 2019 Halloween Concert this Sunday. The event will be at 3 p.m. Oct. 27 in the Buckman Performing and Fine Arts Center at St. Mary’s Episcopal School, 30 Perkins Extended, Memphis.
Tickets are $7, and children ages 7 and younger will be admitted for free. Children are invited to dress in Halloween costumes, and candy will be available for them.
The BCCB is directed by Dr. Rhendle Millen and was founded in 1991. No auditions are required to join the band, and members are not required to be Bartlett residents. The band is open to all ages.
The band’s season runs from mid-January to mid-December, leaving a month off for the winter holidays. Musical selections range from masterworks for wind band to patriotic music, marches, show tunes and pop music.
