BACC preps for education-packed Women’s Expo Friday afternoon

The Women’s Expo is set for Oct. 11 at Bartlett Station Municipal Center, 5868 Stage Road. The Bartlett Area Chamber of Commerce, with First South Financial, presents an all-day event of shopping, networking ​and business and health information for women.

Events will last from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m., including Learning Lab (on the second floor) with speakers on business, finances and health. There also will be exhibitors, more than 60 vendors and food trucks.

  • Noon, Taylor Hayes with First South Financial. Learn what you need to know to stay fiscally fit.
  • 12:30 p.m., Dr. Holly Tucker, Cole Pain Therapy. Learn about modern acupuncture and stress.
  • 1 p.m., Delynn Byars with First South Financial. Get a handle on useful debt reduction techniques.
  • 1:30 p.m., Tammy Zurak on building personal and small business branding.
  • 2 p.m., a First South Financial representative will talk to first-time home buyers.
  • 2:30 p.m., Terry Mecklin of Learning Health and Wellness LLC.
  • 3 p.m., Taylor Hayes with First South Financial on credit reports and scores.
  • 3:30 p.m., Amber Salmon of TNRoots CBS will explain what CBD is and how it’s used.
  • 4 p.m., John Eanes with First South Financial on home-buying red flags.
  • 4:30 p.m., to be announced.
  • 5 p.m., Taylor Hayes with First South Financial on how to jumpstart your savings.
