Memphis Police responded to a fatal shooting around 12:30 p.m. Thursday at a business on Highway 64 near Bartlett.
Information about the case is still preliminary, but investigators alleged that a delivery driver shot and killed a store manager at American Freight Furniture and Mattress at 7859 US-64 in Memphis, and then fled in a tractor-trailer before later being stopped near Interstate 40.
The suspect and victim may have argued about delivery times. The suspect is reportedly a contractor, not an employee of the store.
Identities of the victim and the suspect have not yet been released.
