Rivercrest Elementary School held a sing-along of the national anthem on Sept. 11. The entire body and staff surrounded the school’s flagpole, put their hands on their hearts and joined in singing. Principal Portia Tate said, “It was inspiring to see our students show tribute to our country through song and respect of our country’s national symbol, the American flag.”
