An early-morning shooting Tuesday near Bartlett left one person dead and another victim in critical condition at Regional Medical Center in Memphis.
Memphis Police are looking into the conflict, which happened on Country Trail Drive (near Reese Road) around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday. Early reports are that the shooting may have been a robbery that turned violent.
Names of the victims, descriptions of any suspects and other details of the incident had not yet been released at press time on Tuesday, although MPD is reportedly searching for two suspects. Officers are investigating a home at the scene as well as a nearby fire station where one of the victims may have been taken.
