MEMPHIS, Tenn. – On June 22-23, the Tennessee Unclaimed Property Division will be at the Memphis Redbirds game to help fans find and recover missing money.
Unclaimed Property is a consumer protection program of the Tennessee Department of Treasury. Last year, the Unclaimed Property Division returned a record-breaking $48 million to 43,482 rightful owners. The program is traveling the state to continue connecting Tennesseans with $819.7 million in remaining unclaimed property.
Stop by the Unclaimed Property booth at AutoZone Park’s Main Plaza starting at 6 p.m. on Friday or 5 p.m. on Saturday. See if you are one of the 227,460 property owners missing more than $109,224,825.24 in Shelby County alone.
Game attendees are encouraged to stop by the booth to search both their names as well as those of relatives. If property is found, the owner can file a claim immediately right at the booth, and Division representatives will answer any questions about the claim or claim process.
Those who are unable to attend these events can visit ClaimItTN.gov.
There is no fee to claim missing money from the Tennessee Department of Treasury, and there is no time limit in Tennessee to claim unclaimed property.
