Bartlett scores 100 on water system inspection

Every two years the State of Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation performs an inspection of the Bartlett water system. In the past 30 years the ratings have ranged from 90 to 98, depending on what was found on the inspection.

This year Bartlett personnel addressed every aspect of the system and in April got the word that that they met the goal of a 100 score.

Personnel who were congratulated at a recent city hall meeting included Rick McClanahan, director of engineering; John Horne, assistant director of engineering; Greg Engstrand, division manager; James Brown, Mandrill McLaughlin and Josh Benedict, operators; and Steve Morrison, back flow program coordinator.
