Bartlett hosted a ribbon cutting on Thursday, Feb. 1, at the new location of L.A. Fitness at 6050 Stage Road. A grand opening celebration is being held this Saturday, Feb. 10, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. The facility has an indoor lap pool, indoor basketball court, a Kids Club section, a host of exercise equipment and a variety of fitness classes. I am so proud of Bartlett for landing this great facility. It seems to have ALL the amenities! Having an indoor lap pool is a major plus.
As residents of Bartlett, I don’t think we can thank Mayor McDonald and the Board of Aldermen (and women) enough for the hard work they do every day, recruiting new businesses and making this city more desirable to live in or move to.
In my view, this city is the model for how cities should be run. Financial waste is not tolerated, and all city departments are operated to the benefit of it’s citizens. It IS the shining star of Shelby County.
