Lighting the tree at Singleton

Crowds gathered Friday night to witness a Bartlett holiday tradition – the lighting of the massive 18- to 20-foot Christmas tree at Singleton Community Center. The ceremony began at 6 p.m. and included children singing carols, as well as a special visit by Mr. and Mrs. Claus, who were escorted by the Bartlett Fire and Police departments. An estimated 500 people attended the event.
