Bartlettonian’s photo wins spot in wildlife calendar
A Bartlett resident’s wildlife photo is among pictures chosen for the annual calendar issue of the Tennessee Wildlife magazine, which will be available in early July. Becky McRae’s photo was among the winning 2017-18 entries.
The calendar will cover August 2017 through July 2018. McRae’s photo of three fox kits will be featured for May 2018.
The staff selected the winning photographs from hundreds of submissions and had the challenge to narrow the entries to 13 photos. Other entries will be kept on file and could have the opportunity to appear in future agency publications and on the agency’s website.
Rules and deadlines for next year’s photo contest will appear in future issues of the magazine and also in the fall on the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency’s website, at tnwildlife.org. Photographers will again be invited to submit their best photos on fishing and wildlife species native to the Volunteer State, as well as and fishing and hunting scenes in Tennessee.
