Children and adults who are enthralled by cars, truck, buses and heavy equipment are going to love this event. The Bartlett High School Band is holding its 3rd Annual Touch-A-Truck 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on April 29.

The interactive event allows children to see, touch and safely explore their favorite big trucks and heavy machinery, as well as to meet the personnel who protect, serve and build the Bartlett community.

The vehicles list is still being finalized, but organizers hope to have these vehicle on display: Tractors, front-end loaders, emergency responders, race cars, utility trucks, and a school bus. Weather permitting, there will even be a “Back to the Future” DeLorean.

Admission is $5 to get a wristband. Concessions will also be available to purchase.

The location is the student parking lot off Blackwell, behind Bartlett High School. There will be limited parking off Blackwell as well as parking in front of Bartlett High School at 5688 Woodlawn.
