Myah LeFlore, St. Benedict senior star guard for the Lady Eagles basketball team, has been selected as a Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA) Miss Basketball Finalist. She is one of three in Division II-AA and the only representative in the division from the West. Coach Caleb Marcum said, “Myah is one of the most coachable but talented players I have ever coached. I am so proud that she has been selected, as she is an outstanding representative of prep basketball. Not only is she a great player, but she is a leader on and off the court.” LeFlore has signed with Austin Peay State University. The Mr. and Miss Basketball awards will be presented to the top girls and boys in five classifications of the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association on the floor of Murphy Center on the campus of Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) at 7 p.m. March 7.
