Pancake breakfast tickets go on sale September 13
Bartlett Reserve Firefighters will host their popular annual pancake breakfast on Oct. 8 at the Bartlett Municipal Center, 5868 Stage Road. Food will be served 7-11 a.m., and tickets are $5 for adults and $2 for children ages 12 and younger.
Guests will get two pancakes, two sausages and a drink, and someone will circulate to provide seconds at the table. The firefighters typically serve about 2,200 meals in just under four hours. Don’t let the line scare you; they serve very quickly, about one person every nine seconds.
Although the pancakes and fellowship are the main attraction, the event will also include a moonbounce, face painting, balloons, fire trucks for the kids, and rescue dogs and CERT equipment to look over. The fire prevention department and the police department also will be there with giveaways. The event might even include Hospital Wing, weather permitting.

The Pink Heals Truck will be selling shirts for the Memphis Mid-South Chapter as well as the Bartlett Fire Department selling the Bartlett Pink Heals shirts.
Funds raised help needy local families and charitable organizations such as the Dream Factory of Memphis and the Muscular Dystrophy Assocoation. They pay for food baskets to families at Christmas and in times of dire need. Donations to help offset the expenses of the event are also welcomed.
The Bartlett Volunteer Fire Department will be selling pancake breakfast tickets 6-9 p.m. at Kroger, 2942 Kirby Whitten Road, on these dates:
- Tuesday, Sept. 13
- Tuesday, Sept. 20
- Thursday, Sept. 22
- Tuesday, Sept. 27
- Thursday, Sept. 29
- Tuesday, Oct. 4
Tickets are also sold at the door the day of the event.
