The Bartlett High School cheer team traveled to UCA Camp at Panama City Beach, Florida June 1-4 and came home big winners. The girls received two gold ribbons and 2 blue ribbons at camp.
The varsity team received the following honors:
- First place in cheer
- Third place overall on game day
On competition day, the junior varsity team received trophies in the following:
- First place cheer
- First place dance
- Second place overall game day
This is the first year the program has been represented at the camp by cheerleaders in grades 7-12. The team will cheer at junior varsity, freshmen and varsity football games before starting competition season.
The teams are coached by Darius Henderson, Candace Nurse and Molly Duchemin. Team sponsors are Denise Henry and Chelsea Harral.
