Six a.m. Saturday came bright and early for youthful fishermen and their families in Bartlett, but they were up for the challenge. The city has announced winners from the 2016 Children’s Fishing Rodeo, held 6-9 a.m. at Appling Lake in the Bobby K. Flaherty Municipal Center (U.S. 70 and Appling Road, Bartlett).

- Biggest (heaviest) fish: Michael Weatherford, age group 10-12, 5.89 lbs.
