Lakeland to offer summer dance camp in June

City of Lakeland Parks & Recreation Department announces, “2016 Summer Dance Camp,” open to 6th-8th grade girls, June 13-17, 9 to 11:30 a.m. at Lakeland City Hall, 10001 Highway 70. The camp will focus on visual impact as a group rather than focus on individual moves. Interested participants can register at City Hall through May 31.

BACC releases list of attractions for this month

The Bartlett Area Chamber of Commerce has announced the following upcoming events. See bartlettchamber.org for more information and relevant registration information.

  • June 9: Leadership Bartlett Graduation, 7-8:30 p.m., Holiday Inn & Suites 2751 New Brunswick Road
  • June 10: Industry Appreciation Picnic at 11:30 a.m. at Unique Catering and Event Center at 2751 Bartlett Blvd.
  • June 14: Membership Lunch, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., sponsored by C-Spire, held at Unique Catering and Event Center at 2751 Bartlett Blvd, and featuring the topic, “Entrepre-neur of the Year.”
  • June 16: Learn about BACC members’ electronic benefits, 9-10 a.m.at the BACC Office in the BRIC, 2969 Elmore Park Road (across the street from the post office).
  • June 17: Ribbon cutting at 2 p.m. for JD Wings 2 Go, 7546 US Highway 70, Bartlett.
  • June 23: Grand opening and ribbon cutting at 11:30 a.m. for Canvas Therapy, 2965 N Germantown Road, Ste. 106.
