The Bartlett Police Department (BPD) handled the following incidents during May 16-22. This listing includes the most notable incidents for the reporting period and does not necessarily reflect all police activity.

May 16
North Germantown Road (theft)
A service manager for Infiniti of Memphis (3060 North Germantown Road) reported that someone stole parts from a customer’s gold 2007 Infiniti M45 on the premises between 11 p.m. May 15 and 12:15 a.m. May 16.
Glass was broken on the driver’s side door, and the headlight assemblies and front grill were removed.
The responding officer saw three suspects, two black males and one male of unknown ethnicity, enter the lot from woods on the north side around 11:40 p.m. They left about 12:10 a.m. with vehicle parts in hand.
One of the black male suspects wore a white shirt with long dreadlocks, and the other black male suspect wore a red shirt.
Summer Oaks Drive (theft from motor vehicle)
A woman picking up her daughter at Learning Tree Day Care (2780 Summer Oaks Drive) realized her purple Vera Bradley bag ($75) was missing from the front passenger seat when she returned to the car.
The bag contained a school-issued silver Apple laptop ($1,200), black wallet ($10), driver’s license, Social Security card, First Tennessee checkbook and a Citibank credit card.
Stage Road (harassment)
A woman faced an aggressive and armed ex-boyfriend on May 16 at Bartlett Car Wash (5861 Stage Road).
An officer responded about 11:30 p.m. She said she was sitting in the parking lot when her ex pulled into the lot aggressively. She walked to her Nissan to avoid him, but she said he emerged and tried to talk with her about their relationship ending. She said he then raised his shirt and brandished a firearm tucked in at his waist.
She feared for her safety, but said he got back into his truck and sped toward her vehicle. His mirror hit her car as he fled, spinning his tires and throwing rocks at her car. A witness verified her story.
May 17
Constance Avenue (theft)
Someone stole two Rubbermaid containers ($30) from the back of a man’s truck while it was in his driveway. The containers held an aquarium test kit ($50), Python aquarium cleaner ($80) and a power strip cord ($50).
Steffan Woods Cove (assault)
A juvenile male said someone assaulted him while he was walking home around 10:30 p.m. May 17. He was returning from a nearby gas station where he bought chips when a car pulled up and two black males got out.
They told him to empty his pockets and then they struck him in the face. While he was on the ground, one suspect cut him twice with a knife, he said.
He had a swollen left eye and two small lacerations on his left thigh consistent with a knife cut.
The victim said he ran off, and the suspects got back in the vehicle and left westbound on Egypt Central. He lost no property in the assault.
He estimated that the suspects were between 30 and 40 years old and were 6 feet 2 inches tall.
May 18
Foxfield Trail (vandalism)
A vandal broke out the rear passenger window of a man’s car on Foxfield Trail sometime between 6 p.m. May 17 and 11:50 a.m. May 18. The responding officer saw a small piece of asphalt on the vehicle’s back seat. Nothing appeared to have been taken from the vehicle.
St. Elmo Road (burglary)
Someone entered a man’s unlocked shed on St. Elmo Road and stole numerous items, he reported on May 18.
The victim said someone took more than 50 antique Chinese furniture cabinet pieces valued at more than $100,000. He also said someone from the city’s Code Enforce-ment Department called him to report seeing and speaking with a white male and a black male on the property on May 13.
May 19
U.S. 64 (theft)
An inventory at Guitar Center (8000 U.S. 64) revealed that nine electronic items were missing, the store manager reported on May 19.
The following items were stolen during May 17-18: Universal Audio Apollo Twin Duo 2×4 Audio Interface ($899.99) and white Native Instru-ments Mikro MK2 ($349.99).
These items were stolen during May 1-19: Universal Audio Apollo Twin Duo 2×4 audio interface ($899.99), Universal Audio Apollo Twin Solo 2×4 audio interface ($699.99), Universal Audio Apollo Twin Duo usb interface ($899.99), Apogee Duet audio interface ($595.99), two black Native Instruments Mikro MK2 ($349.99 each) and a white Native Instruments Mikro MK2 ($349.99).
The store manager provided serial numbers, and the items were entered into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database.
May 22
Bristol Pine (theft from motor vehicle)
A truck owner who left his Chevy unlocked in front of his apartment said someone stole a weapon from it between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. May 22.
It was a silver and black .40-caliber Smith & Wesson semiautomatic handgun ($400).
