Lakeland residents are invited to roll up their sleeves, show community pride and help beautify the city one project at a time.
Join the Keep Lakeland Beautiful Campaign — headed up by members of the newly formed Keep Lakeland Beautiful Advisory Board — on Saturday, May 21, from 8 a.m. to noon to help mulch the trees inside the Canada Road medians.
The project will pave the way for the future Gateway sign going up at the median near U.S. 64 and Canada Road.
Don’t forget your gloves and shovels. Water will be provided for all volunteers.
