This summer will be the 40th anniversary year for the Millington Central High School Class of 1976. Ten years ago, the classmates teamed up with the 1975 MCHS graduates for a weekend of reunion fun. Organizers have released a schedule of events for the June 10-11 MCHS reunion.
Friday, June 10
- Family picnic, 5-11 p.m.: Navy Lake Pavilion at the Navy Lake Recreation Area, 6344 Kerrville Rosemark Road , Millington.
The menu will include hamburgers, hot dogs, barbecue baked beans, cole slaw/potato salad, assorted desserts and a choice of beverage, including colas, iced tea or water. People also may bring their own food if desired. - 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.: Conversation time, meal time, group photos and more
- 7:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.: “Lessons Learned and Crazy Times at MCHS!”
- 8-10 p.m.: “MCHS Grads Have Talent” Corner (sign up early to get a spot). Bring your dancing skills, your guitar and/or your fabulous voice.
- General: There will be room to roam (indoors and outdoors) and to reconnect with special friends and former classmates. Former faculty members from our years at MCHS will be invited as special guests. All graduates from the MCHS graduating classes of 1975 and 1976 and their guests/families (including children and grandchildren) are invited.

Saturday, June 11
- 2016 Dinner/Dance, 7-11 p.m.: Adults only at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites, 5090 Copper Creek Boulevard, Millington. The buffet menu will include carved roast beef, roasted chicken breast, green beans, au gratin potatoes, salad, bread and butter, tea or coffee, and a choice of two desserts that will be homemade from scratch. MCHS’s own Bobby Carver will be the deejay, playing tunes from the 1970s and more.
