California-based developer Gilad Development and local design firm A2H have proposed plans for The Lake District, a mixed-use development to be located in Lakeland at the site of the former Lakeland Factory Outlet Mall off Interstate-40 and Canada Road.
Conceptual plans for the proposed development feature a combination of uses such as luxury retail stores, two hotels, restaurants, office spaces, residences, and more.
At press time Tuesday, the presentation was scheduled for 7 p.m. April 6 at the Stonebridge Golf Course, 3049 Davies Plantation Road, Lakeland.
