MEMPHIS — West Cancer Center and Methodist Healthcare announced March 31 that its newest Elekta linear accelerator (LINAC) is officially open and operational at its Radiation Oncology site at Methodist University Hospital.
“The addition of our new linear accelerator for our Department of Radiation Oncology represents the commitment of West Cancer Center and Methodist Healthcare to equipping our physicians — and patients — with the most advanced equipment and technology to combat cancer,” said Erich Mounce, CEO of West Cancer Center.
