Gaylon, Ann Brooks to mark 50th anniversary

Gaylon and Ann (Peppers) Brooks were married at the home of her parents on March 18, 1966. After serving in the Army, Gaylon worked as a brick mason and retired from Golden Flake Company. Ann worked as a secretary and homemaker.

For several years, they were foster parents to children from the Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home. Both were very active in their church, North Frayser Baptist, until its closing in 2015. Longtime residents of the Frayser community, Gaylon and Ann currently live in Bartlett with their extended family.

Gaylon and Ann are proud parents of their sons, Ed (Denise) and Bobby, and two grandsons, Zane and Nicholas. Family and friends will congratulate them on their golden anniversary with a celebration at their home in Bartlett.
