Bartlett’s season came to an end Tuesday in the second round of the Region 7-AAA tournament. The Panthers fell to Cordova 69-58 on the road.
After trading baskets in the first quarter, Cordova pulled away in the second with a 21-11 run. Despite scoring 38 points in the second half, Bartlett could not surmount the lead Cordova established earlier in the game.
Jaylan Sumerall had 15 for Bartlett (14-16) and Exavian Young added 13.
Cordova moves on to play Bolton on Thursday in the championship game.
