
Senior guard Jaylen Fisher had 18 points to lead Bolton past Arlington 58-57 Tuesday night in the Region 7-AAA tournament.
Bolton jumped on Arlington early with a 21-12 run in the first quarter and took a 37-22 lead into the half.
The Tigers came out hot in the second half and outscored Bolton 21-9 in the third quarter, cutting the lead to 46-43.
Senior guard Nathan Hoover paced Arlington with 15 points and Edward Douglas added 12 points.
The Tigers continued their second half run in the fourth quarter, outscoring Bolton 14-12 but falling short in the semifinals.
Martavius Wilson had 15 points in the game for Bolton.
With the loss, Arlington’s season came to an end with a 20-8 record.
Bolton moves on to the championship game against Cordova on Thursday at Arlington High School.
