St. Patrick’s Day will be welcomed with live local music, thanks to Dr. Scott Elsholz, the director of music at the Catholic Church of the Nativity in Bartlett.
He will present a St. Patrick’s Day Concert at 7 p.m. March 17 at his church. The church is located at 5955 St. Elmo Rd. in Bartlett.
The music will include many beloved Irish sacred songs and Celtic folk songs, in addition to a few musical surprises. Joining Elsholz will be the critically acclaimed coloratura soprano Bethania Baray and the gifted flautist/Irish whistle player Jeanne Elting Simmons.
Admission is free and a reception will follow the program.
