Three local students have been recognized by Freed-Hardeman University for academic achievement during the 2012 fall semester. Daniel Gravatt and Bethany Taylor of Bartlett as well as Chelsie Hutcheson of Oakland have been named to the Dean’s List.
Gravett is a senior majoring in management. Taylor is a junior majoring in arts and humanities while Hutcheson is a junior with a child and family studies major.
Inclusion on the Dean’s List requires maintaining a minimum grade-point average of 3.40 for the semester and full-time status.
Freed-Hardeman is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to offer baccalaureate and master’s degrees. The university is a top tier school for the Southern region in U.S. News and World Report’s annual ranking of colleges.
