Bartlett Fire delivers $5K of local meals

Bartlett Fire Department patch logo BFDThe Bartlett Fire Department expressed its appreciation over the past weekend for its reserve firefighters and their families who care enough to contribut to the community.

Everyone’s efforts paid off when the department was able to buy groceries to help people through the Christmas holiday. Funds were raised through the recent annual pancake breakfast.

Chief Terry Wiggins released the following statement on Saturday, Dec. 19.

“Thanks to all of you that helped, supported and bought tickets to our annual pancake breakfast, we were able to purchase $5,000 worth of groceries and delivered them today for citizens of our community for Christmas. Thanks again to everyone who helped. It was a great day for Bartlett,” Wiggins said.
