The Mid-South Maze at the Agricenter is not for the faint of heart after the sun sets. During the day, it’s a mild-mannered family stroll through fun Halloween scenarios. At night, it’s a screaming, gasping sprint through corn-lined corridors while the stalks rustle around you on both sides, crazy clowns jump out with machetes and there’s the cry of “brains …” from the zombies.
The event is a mainstay of the Halloween season and is now open for the season at the Agricenter International (7777 Walnut Grove Road, Memphis). Attractions include the massive Jumping Pillow, the Corn Cannon, a chance to win sponsors’ prizes, and each weekend’s Haunted Hayrides.
