Bartlett residents Pat Bahadosingh, Michelle Hathoway, and Tami Lancaster were recently recognized by Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare as outstanding nurses during the hospital’s Nursing Stars Celebration. This celebration is held annually during National Nurses’ Week. The event recognizes the exceptional women and men who define the patient- and family-centered care MLH is committed to providing.
“Each year, we recognize the nurses within our organization who are at their best. Those nurses who inspire others to do better,” said MLH CEO Gary Shorb. “Superior nursing care is the cornerstone of what we do. It is the dedication and healing presence of our nurses that enable us to positively impact the communities we serve.”
Nursing Stars are selected from each MLH facility. From the Nursing Stars, one Nurse of the Year is chosen from each facility and they are recognized at the ceremony. Candidates are nominated by their peers based on professionalism, interpersonal relations, community involvement, innovation, patient- and family-centered care and the science of nursing.
