Once again, Millington Central High School was the place to be for special needs students this spring. The annual Spring Fling took place for MCHS, Arlington High School, Millington Middle and Bartlett Academy students in the Wiliam Osteen Gymnasium.
The 26 MCHS students along with Trojan assistants hosted the three other schools in a day of fun. Teachers, assistants and faculty conducted face painting stations, bag decorations tables and helped students create puppets. Then the children were able to watch a puppet show produced by MCHS students.
The children got a chance to move their feet line dancing with members of the Lady Trojanettes. In addition to a photo booth, the students visited informative booths about overall health and maintaining a healthy weight.
Members of the MCHS faculty wanted to thank all their colleagues from Millington Middle, Bartlett Academy and Arlington High School for coming out to participate. And with the school experiencing some flooding earlier in the week after a severe downpour, MCHS instructor Christy Withers extended gratitude to the plant management staff at MCHS for getting things ready for Spring Fling 2015.
Pizza lunch was provided by Homer Skelton Chrysler Doge Jeep Ram of Millington.
