Easter shoe drive to benefit ‘Soles4Soles’

souls2MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A local State Farm agent is hosting a shoe drive from now until Easter, to donate to the global anti-poverty organization Soles4Souls.

Since 2014, Kacky Kortenber of Memphis has let her office serve as an official drop-off location for Soles4Souls, a global non-profit organization that fights poverty.

Although she will be collecting throughout the year of 2015, she has chosen to ramp up her efforts to host a dedicated drive for Easter.

Donors can bring shoes for the Easter drive to Kortenber’s State Farm Insurance office through April 5. The office is near the FedEx World Headquarters, at 7900 Winchester Rd, Suite 101, Memphis. Call (901) 757-0303 with any questions.

Kortenber’s team members — Lindsay Kortenber, Kyle Norrid, Anne Williams, and Katie Kor-tenber — will also be helping to drive awareness for this cause.

Soles4Souls is a non-profit organization which monetizes used shoes and clothing to create sustainable jobs, as well as fund direct relief efforts, which include distribution of new shoes and clothing throughout the world.
