Kate Dixon, at right, of the Pink Palace Museum in Memphis was the professional development speaker at the Jan. 12 meeting of Bartlett City Schools librarians at Appling Middle School. BCS librarians meet monthly with featured speakers as resources that can support teachers and student achievement. Dixon shared the Pink Palace “traveling suitcases” filled with artifacts and literature that support science and social studies content.
