60th anniversary: Ketchums to celebrate on March 3

Carlos and Betty Ketchum will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary with their family.

Carlos and Betty Ketchum of Bartlett will observe their 60th wedding anniversary on Monday, March 3. Carlos is the son of Norman and Martha Ketchum, formerly of Newbern, Tenn. Betty is the daughter of Roy and Ruby Wilmath Tarver, formerly of Hickman, Ky.

They will celebrate with their two children, Terry Ketchum (Pamela) of Bartlett and Tammy Owen (Harold) of Louisville, Colo.; four grandchildren, Daniel Owen (Michelle) of Dillsburg, Penn.; Crystal Catalano (Lucas) of Wichita, Kan.; Gregory Ketchum of Bartlett; Kristy Woody (Keith) of Cordova; and six great-grandchildren, Chloe and Kaydin Ketchum of Bartlett; Lanie and Graham Woody of Cordova; Gabriel Catalano of Wichita, Kan.; and Caleb Owen of Dillsburg, Penn.

Carlos served in the Army from 1953 to 1955 and retired from Lehman-Roberts Paving Co. after 44 years of service as a foreman / heavy equipment operator. Betty is a 1954 graduate of Hickman High School and has devoted most of her time to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The Ketchums were married on March 3, 1954, in Corinth, Miss., and are members of Faith Baptist Church in Bartlett.

The family will be honoring Carlos and Betty Ketchum with a private dinner at Side Porch Steak House in Bartlett.
