
The Bartlett Police Department recently announced the promotions of the following officers:
- Capt. Paul Phillips was hired as a patrolman on May 1, 1995. He served in patrol and traffic as a traffic reconstructionist. He was promoted to detective April 1, 2000, and then to lieutenant April 1, 2007. He has now been promoted to the rank of captain.
- Lt. Josh Pike was hired as a patrolman on Feb. 16, 1998. He was promoted to detective on Feb. 1, 2005, and assigned as a task force officer with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). He has served as acting lieutenant in patrol and now he has been promoted to the rank of lieutenant.
- Det. Gerald “Wayne” Holmes was hired as a Reserve Officer on Oct. 1, 1992, and as a full-time patrolman on Jan. 1, 1995. He has served as a motor officer and a crash reconstructionist and has now been promoted to the rank of detective.
- Det. Wilson Bierbrodt was hired as a Patrolman on Dec. 15, 2006. He has served in SWAT and as a crime suppression officer and is now promoted to the rank of detective.
- Lt. John Steven Keys was hired as a patrolman on Sept. 1, 1996. He was promoted to detective on Jan. 1, 2006. He has worked in both General Investigations and Narcotics and has served as an acting lieutenant in patrol. He is now promoted to the rank of lieutenant.
- Det. Tim Dunlap was hired as a patrolman on Feb. 16, 2007. He served as a school resource officer, field training officer and an acting patrol lieutenant, and he is now promoted to the rank of detective.
