Girl Scouts out selling cookies this weekend
Dieters everywhere can tremble — Girl Scout cookies are hitting the streets this Friday.
Cookie booths will be sprouting up at most area Kroger grocery store locations, most Wal-Mart Supercenters and Neighborhood Markets, all Mid-South H & R Block locations, Hollywood Feed stores, Petco stores, Huey’s Restaurants, the Arcade Restaurant and many other locations
For the first time this year, restaurants such as Central Barbecue on Summer Avenue and Rock ‘N Dough Pizza on Poplar Avenue have joined the list of cookie booth locations.

Roadwork set for I-40 ramp
Lakeland residents and travelers, take note: I-40 westbound ramp will be closed at 8 p.m. March 3 through 5 p.m. March 4 for the laying of pipe across the ramp.
